I wonder how much of this can be learned and how much of it is just innate? As you mentioned, Zohran was able to charm that Fox lady Martha. He was genuinely brilliant there, can people learn such charisma? Haven’t seen such a talented politician since Obama. The Dems have been producing duds since. I wish he wasn’t so left wing but imo he seems kind of malleable

I don't agree with all his policy stances, but I think there is something to be said for having a unifying campaign theme all voters get ("build the wall", "break up the banks") and bold ideas that - even if they're not great policy ideas or are not feasible - at least signal to voters you care about the issue they care about. I'd love to see Dems run on a similar national "Affordability Agenda". There is definitely an opportunity as Trump and Republicans have done nothing to address the issue, and in fact, have made things worse with tariffs and other anti-consumer measures.
